Raging Bull Sportswear is an exclusive rugby clothing company that supplies branded, high quality performance clothing, for both on and off the field of play.

Established in 2003 with Phil Vickery, Rugby World Cup Winner & MBE, the company has grown from grassroots rugby to a brand that punches well above its weight having supplied sportswear to national and international level sides.

As a passionate supporter of communities and local clubs, setting up a sportswear company to provide high quality affordable kit seemed to Phil to be the perfect idea for a business after playing – but first of all to get everything up and running he needed a company name.

England Head Coach Sir Clive Woodward was the man who, due to Phil’s rampaging style of rugby, first called him a ‘raging bull’ back in 1999 and the name stuck. There was no hesitation for Phil – his nickname was the perfect choice for the fledging company and Raging Bull was born.

In 2007 Raging Bull Sportswear teamed up with Halbro Sportswear, further strengthening the brand. Halbro’s 100 years’ experience in the supply of sportswear meant that the brand could benefit from this wealth of manufacturing, design and product development knowledge. Partnering with a British based brand who have been in the industry for so long really outlines the intentions of Raging Bull Sportswear, it is a brand that will be around for the next 100 years.
