Garment Pilling:
Pills will appear on this fabric. It is when groups of short or broken fibres become tangled together in a tiny knot or ball, otherwise known as a pill. The pills form due to rubbing or abrasion during normal wear and use.
The pill, unfortunately, becomes a magnet for other loose threads in a wash load the two become entangled. That's why a black/Navy fabric ends up with little white knots. That white knot is fuzz from another fabric.
There are steps you can take to reduce pilling: -
Wash inside out.
Do not Mix with other harder fabrics in the wash such as denim.
Add fabric softener
Avoid the dryer
Remove Pilling
Use a battery-operated pill and fuzz remover.
